Engineer Sean Casey presented the project for the applicant. A new plan was presented to the
commission which identified the species of trees that would be added and the guard rail was
removed on the new plan.
Mr. Gabriella talked about three proposed parking spots and how if the Commission insisted on
having a guard rail. He would need to get a different snow removal company to plow him out
during the winter which would add a significant cost.Using a bobcat to plow with his parking lot
is too expensive and he asked that all of the guardrails be removed from the plan. Presently the
employees are parking in the snow storage area(lawn)and when it snows the snow will go into
the 3 added parking area.
Ms. Scanlon asked for a guarantee no more parking will be added to this lot Mr. Tirane insisted
as he did from the first initial meeting this project must have a guardrail or bollards to prevent
parking in the Zone of Natural Vegetation area.
Mr.Pinette said that patrons were parking on the grass area.

The Commission said they would allow removable bollards so that after November 15th they
could be removed and store snow during the season but put back in place by this April 15"each
year.
Mr. Gabriel and his engineer Mr. Casey set a new plan will be designed based around 6 x 6
posts, removable bollards, and a heavy chain that will hang between them.

The applicant was working with the Mrs. Tirone to remove invasive plants within the Zone of
Natural Vegetation. The applicant has a responsibility in perpetuity to make sme that invasive
speciesdon't re-establish themselves. Mr. Tirone would go out once a week flag an invasive`s
and the applicant would remove them from the entire 25 foot ZNV similar to an invasive
workshop. Mr. Tirone said that this process was needed because the applicant was unfamiliar
with plant ID and that his time would pay back in big dividends on this property.
The request for certificate of compliance should be before the Commission at the next public
meeting.
Selectmen's chair Andy Friedmann introduced himself to the Commission.
Mr. Pinette asked about Massachusetts Association for Conservation Commission's workshops
and payment reimbursement process with the Conservation office.
Motion to adjourn Mr. Pinette seconded Mr. Flynn 8:30 PM
