Ms. Longley called meeting to order at 7:00 pm

Hooshmand Afshar, Owner and chief engineer of Taj Engineering LLC. reviewed the changes
requested by the Commission. 6 x 6 post replaced the 4 x 4 posts along with removable bollards.
The removable bollards are in two locations allowing access to the snow storage area after
November 15" of each year
The Simpson mounting anchors were discussed along with the 6 x 6 posts,embedded into
concrete two feed in a 12 inch sonatube footing with 20D nails pounded halfway into the base of
the post to give added strength.
A chain will run from posts to post preventing cars from encroaching into the 35'no structure
zone. The chain will hang no lower than 2 feet off the ground.

Order of conditions 270-0706 193 Bancroft Ave, Rodger
The Commission reviewed of the Order of Conditions. The chair asked for a motion to close the
order.

Certificate of Compliance 270-0615 Artis Senior Living
Ms. Longley,Mr. Pinette and Mr. Tirone Conservation Administrative conducted a site visit to
check for compliance. After many attempts by the developer to complete the to do's finally
everything is complete the chair asked for a motion to issues.

270-0676113 Arcadia Ave
4 mature pine trees were flagged by the developer for removal. The floor trees are additional
trees beyond the scope of the approved Order of Conditions. The trees were notices after clearing
the lot exposing the trees to wind and a greater likelihood of coming down in a gust. A site walk
was conducted with Ms. Longley Mr. Pinette and Mr. Tironc.After discussion the matter the
Commission asked Mr. Saccone to check the trees out and report back to Commission at the next
meeting. MADep will also need to approve the proposed changes
Land Gift
The commission received an email from Mr. Latham who owns a lot of land that he would like
to donate to the Conservation Commission. The lot 2-1 and is located near rt. 93 and 128
interchange on the Stoneham side of the highway. Mr. Hayes volunteered to go out and evaluate
the land and report back to the Commission at the next meeting.
Offset funds
Commission voted to approve an offset of$2,000 from the Conservation fund into the general
fund.

Chair Longley will not attend the October 106 meeting because of other commitments.
