Sbarra distributed information including which other Massachusetts communities and slates had raised or are considering raising the age of purchase of tobacco and nicotine delivery devices. A discussion was held among all people at the meeting. There was consensus among all nine Board of Health members that they would like to move forward at their next meetings with the process:to raise the minimum age for purchase of tobaccoand nicotine delivery devices to 21 with an effective date of July 1, 2014. The Board of Health delegated the Town Clerk to issue dog licenses to dogs without a rabies certificate with a letter from the animal's veterinarian that it was medically contraindicated. Vote was unanimous.
