The applicant is proposing an above ground pool in his back yard approximatelyl5 feet from the
BV W on existing lawn. The size of the pool is 23 feet long by 12 feet wide. The pool company is
from Wakefield and they will enter the property on top of plywood sheets to save the grass and
reduce soil compacting with the heavy equipment. The area where the pool is will be excavated
and filled with crushed stone. The pool will be on top of an existing 12 x 15 play area. on the
property. The Commission accepted a variance request to allow the pool in the 25 foot ZNV.

NOI 270-0685 Tennessee Gas Pipe Line
New plans were projected on the on the screen. The applicant proposes to use New England
plant mix and all areas of disturbance and segregate the topsoil to use for the top dressing the
graded area allowing the existing seed bank to germinate. The low flow Channel can't shift
without compromising the bank on eater side. The substrate was changed to limestone to
increase permeability of the stream and allow flow through the bum. The top of berm is at
elevation 86.25 in the top of bank is at elevation 87.The applicant discussed alternative,
elevating the pipe is against safety protocol, lowering the pipe is complicated because of ledge
believed to be on the Eastway and by the limited access to the protect site. Protecting the pipe
and place is the preferred alternative, the applicant notes from 1951 support the assumption of
ledge on Eastway, but not detail on the concrete coating on the pipe was given in the notes. The
commission asked about other alternatives such as adding rubber protection to the pipe or more
concrete to each end to protect the edges. Ms. Scanlon ask about a hydraulic and hydrologic
study of the stream channel. Mr Tirone said the engineering department will review the project
before the Commission approves the work. The Commission wanted to we modeling of the 10
and 20 years storm events Mr. Pinette asked about the impoundment area and the maximum
extent the impounded water would raise on the bank and if that will cause any flooding to the
abutting property.
