Administrative Donna reminded all to contact our state rep to consider adding $ to MCC budget. Donna requested members review the MCC webinar for new applicants. There are changes from last year. Donna presented three designs for RCC logo. One was selected by all and will be used for local projects. Nancy will review Council Priorities on RCC website to be sure they are correct. Donna discussed clarification on voting with associate members. If only three (3) members are present, an associate member can vote. Annual Survey Nancy reviewed the survey. People used the survey to have a voice with the town. 127 responses were received but we can only see the detail for 100 because of the limits of the license. 39 responded via email; 88 people used the weblink. 23 asked to be added to the RCC mail list. Key takeaways include: people new about the RCC but not our website; 25% had not attended an RCC event. People learned about RCC and supported events by word of mouth (67%), social media (44%), library. Desired priorities include music and performing arts, celebrating humanities, highlighting local history and diversity. At the top of the list of challenges is the lack of adequate and affordable performance space. Mary Ann will summarize the survey for selectmen and town manager. Finances Current balance is $5625.29 , with $244.75 held for administrative fund. The committee discussed the desired administrated fund balance for the next fiscal year. Beth proposed adding to the current balance to give RCC a $300 budget for administrative purposes for the next year. Nora Seconded. All approved.
