Bonazoli, C. Caruso, P. Conboy, A. Chase, K. Kaminer Absent: None Attending: P. Hechenbleikner,J. Feudo,J. Halsey, Reading Patch Press Person Meeting opened 7:30. K. Kaminer elected recording secretary. Vote: 5-0 P. Hechenbleikner presented and reviewed guidelines charged to the committee. Reinforced that when communicating via email, "reply all' is in violation of open meeting laws. Charged to specifically address Page 8, Rule 3 of the existing guidelines in place. It was reported that one member of the BOS suggested eliminating the section in the guidelines that addresses "sound amplification". BOS member J. Bonazoli elected chair of this ad-hoc committee. Vote: 5-0 Report of the ad-hoc committee due to BOS 12-31-11 Next Meeting: Tuesday morning 7:00 AM—8:00AM on 9-17-11. Town Hall Conference Room Additional Meetings: 30-11-11, 10-25-11 Due for next meeting: 1. J. Feudo to provide schedule of all activities for all fields. 2. J. Feudo obtaining surrounding towns policy for sound ordinance Site Visits: plans will be made to visit parks in order to observe activity in parks and its proximity to neighborhoods. Sound amplification will be brought on site visits to simulate amplified sound in parks. Discussion:Some parks may be deemed "no amplified sound" parks. P. Hechenbleikner told committee that the charge is to develop a work plan. Meeting adjourned: 8:00 PM
