Minutes from the meeting on Mar 27, 2018 were reviewed and approved. 2. Maintenance of Alligator Alley One of the sections is sinking a bit in one corner. Bo Garrison is interested in fixing it. 3. Kurchian Trail Maintenance The red trail is very wet and could be a vernal pool. Tom Skenderian will flag a new path to move the trail more upland. RTC should to a site visit. 4. Friends and Family Day Tom will get the information. Jean is not available but others can do it. 5. Town Forest Blazing There are erosion issues due to biking use. Maybe there should be better marking for trails? Use fiberglass markers with QR codes on them? Blazing Plan Colors: Purple loop around 702 Campsite (nearest Ipswich River) Yellow loop - Overlook and Cross Country trails Red - Pine Ridge and esker trail (northeast section with view of Ipswich River) Page i 1 Tom will take the blazing plan to the Town Forest committee for approval some time this summer. 6. Budget We have $950 to spend before June 30. The Maillett trail (Lowell to Willow plus spur to Aberjona) needs supplies costing approximately $1325. Kim will order supplies. 7. Next Project - Maillett - Aberjona trail Work day(s) - Aug 11 and 12 (9am - 3pm) with pre-build on Friday Aug 10. Next Meeting: Tues Aug 7 at 7:00pm The meeting was adjourned at 8:50pm. Page i 2
