RW appointed VA as a voting member in JW's absence. • 2018 Local Preservationist Award - RW read a thank you note from VA. • If This House Could Talk - Jack Santos; who organizes the Newburyport "IFthis house could talk" program explained how it works there: Newburyport has a specific geographical. area that is an easy walk from the center_of town. Program is timed to coincide with their "Yankee Homecoming Any.owner can put up a sign the size of a poster board with the outline of a .house. There are no strict requirements for these signs. The first year there was a map on the.web Map.walknewburyport.com to let people know where signs were for the approximately 70 structures. The next year there were over 100 properties. Vote 5-0.- SC moved to-spend up to $1,000:00 for preservation supplies for glass plate negatives collection. SRS.seconded. Vote 5-0. • New.Business o, RW showed a.proposed "Member Packet" that hesuggested might be helpful-for, all RHC members. Reaction was positive. Ron will move ahead with the project. o SC-agreed-that the WWI poster should be conserved: • Inquiries 0 24 Grove St Potential owner'spoke to RW. o Reading Horne for Aged Woman - VA will research and respond to inquiry.- . •- Membership - Discussed positions for the upcoming year. Following discussion, RW moved the following: JEB - Chair, SC - Secretary,. JW - Treasurer. VA seconded. .Vote 5-0. • Minutes.- Review minutes from 5/9/18. RW moved to.accept the minutes.from May 9 2018 as amended, VA seconded. Vote 5-0. • Next Meeting will be a Special meeting to be held on June 13,2018 at 7 pm.
