Committee made quorum at 6:15 pm and started the meeting by reviewing,minutes from previous meeting on 2/5/18. It was noted--by Kevin Cabuzzi.that the underground storage tank at Killam was removed from,the ground years ago. Minutes accepted at 6:21 pm. ,Jennifer Kane -introduced herself and stated her knowledge of the-current: situation with , Killam's MSBA rating. Brad Congdon gave a brief explanation of why the Permanent Building Committee was formed and what role:they are currently in a far as Killam goes. Jennifer Kane stated she feels Killam gets little..to no attention due to..money limitations - caused by its lack of ADA compliance. She is concerned-about the'Town requesting eight, million to repair fields and seemingly not.doing anything for Killam: -The committee discussed an initial narrative of Killam done by John Coote. Nancy Twomey passed out a narrative she put together of Killam's interior. Noted by John Coote and Nancy Twomey.that any and all ACM in Killam is intact and non friable. Greg Stepler arrived at 6:55,pm. John Coote suggests the..committee have a "master spec" and_ adapt that spec to each building independently. Page JA It was noted that next meeting.should be April 2"d, location to be determined. Do we need to hire someone from ADA or MAAB? Will they come out pro-bono? Can they give a presentation of what to look for? Nancy Twomey suggests we reach out to Deb Ryan for guidance on ADA compliance at Killam. Greg Stepler asked if the Permanent Building Committee thinks we should have a presentation done or have an independent assessment (ADA)-done. It was noted that perhaps the Permanent Building Committee is getting ahead of itself and should concentrate on just assessing the building. Nancy Twomey will be handling what will trigger ADA compliance and to what extent. Agreed by all for the April 2nd meeting to be at Town Half. Motion to adjourn 7:43 pm. Meeting adjourned. Page i 2
