Version: Attendees: Members - Present: John Arena, Dan-Ensminger, Andrew Friedmann Members - Not Present: Barry Berman, John Halsey Others Present: Town Manager Bob LeLacheur., Executive Assistant Caitlin Saunders Minutes Respectfully Submitted By: Topics of Discussion:, Chair John Arena called the meeting to order.at'7:00 PM., Liaison Reports Mr. Ensminger noted the forms for the Town Manager's review are all set and he will be sending them out soon. He noted the board filled the two vacant positions on the Board of Health last week. One filling Mr.'Friedmann's spot and one filling the vacancy that happened that night. The Board of Health met the next night and appointed Laura Vlasuk as the . Health Agent. Town Manager Report Mr. LeLacheur noted the Fall Street Fair was a huge success. He had a Chair/Vice Chair meeting with CPDC, Conservation Commission and ZBA about a project that is bouncing between all those boards. Mr. LeLacheur then mentioned on October 4th there will be an economic development summit at the Library. Historic District Preservation Restriction - 186 Summer Ave It was noted this is the same document they saw last week with just corrected typos. Mr. Ensminger asked if the Board had any role_in this besides approving it and Mr. LeLacheur noted no they do not. Mr. Ensminger moved to approve the historic preservation restriction between. Criterion Child Enrichment, Inc. and the Town of Reading as presented to the Board of Selectmen on September 14, 2017, subject to any minor, non-substantive changes requested by the Massachusetts Historical Commission,prior to execution. The motion was seconded by Mr._ Friedmann and approved with a 3-0-0 vote. Mr. Friedmann made a comment that some Mass General Restriction Laws have a 30 year sunset clause andasked if this applies to this as well. Mr. LeLacheur noted he was not sure. Page 1 Mr. Ensminger gave kudos to Historic Commissions for coming up,with these conditions for everyone. Mr.. Friedmann made a motion to adjourn at 7:18 PM, second by Mr. Ensminger and approved with a 3-0-0 vote. Page 2
