Topics of. Discussion:
1. Called to order 7:10pm; Heather calls Josh Goldlust up to full voting member from
associate in order to vote on November Meeting Minutes
2. Open Meeting Law Webinar announced. to committee, 12/14 at 3:30pm
3. Sharing Experiences/public input
a. Heather gave update on joint'RED/HRAC event with Dr.
Ornstein
b. David Clark gives update that another swastika found -in -
Multipurpose room at Coolidge on 12/7.
c. Kyung updates on Reading POWR group; mission to bring
refugee. family to Reading, closer to getting a family and the fundraising goal
has already been surpassed
i. Heather to follow up with another email blast/FB
post
d. Tali update: first AWOD meeting. happened at RMHS, Ms. Lynch
is faculty advisor; about 15+ students attended
e. Josh L update: Looking forward to Dr. Ornstein.comi ng' back to
Reading to RMHS to have conversation with the HS students

a. Review' Poster - Everyone approves, some text updates to be
made to include accessibility accommodations language and spell out PAC,.
then to be sent to printer
b. Review. programming
c. Delegate -tasks
i. Marketing: Heather to send out email with list to.
be split up on contacting media outlets and hanging posters around
town (this is to happen before January HRAC- meeting)
ii. Josh to give Ms. -Lynch Heather's email in case
she would like to reach out re: MLK participation opportunities
iii. Tali suggested reaching out to Ms. Lombardo and
asking if National Honor Society students would like to volunteer
iv. Kyung suggests slide show include pics ,from
events throughout the year, including Dr. Ornstein event and Kindness
Rocks event
6. Continue HRAC Structure discussion
a. Reviewed document comparing old language with new proposed
language in BoS policies and procedures document
b. Next step is to coordinate a round table discussion with BoS
and HRAC members
7. Review of upcoming action plans and establish. date of next meeting -
a. Next meeting date confirmed as 1/4/2018
8. Vote on approval of minutes from past meetings.if,possible
a. Heather moved to approve, Kyung seconds, 4-0 in favor
