depicts Jewish. for fear ofit being defaced
iii. Question of whether it is better to keep bringing

5. REO Meeting November 9: HRAC is posted to be there to encourage members to
attend

6. MLK 2018: Decide on a theme and programming details
a. Discussed themes, would like to have something that leans
towards respecting different opinions and becoming unified; must still have
MLK at it's core; will ask for input/suggestions at RED meeting on 11/9
b. Programming: Will.probably keep mostly the same, but some
ideas were -floated about doing something more interactive in the future,
possibly 2019
c. Josh L is working with Ms. Cunha on a drama club participation;
also possible poetry ideas?
d. Tali isgoing to talk to Art Club and AWOD to see if there are
any possibilities there. Also will look into a dance component:
e. Heather to email Ms. Cunha and other teachers to touch base;
also to find out who is sponsor of GSA
7. Any additional agenda items as come up
a. Kindness Rock Garden @ RPL
i. Motion for HRAC to support and participate in
event on 11/15 from 12pm-8pm

S. Review of upcoming action plans and establish date of next meeting
a. Date of 12/7 to be kept, usual schedule
b. To add to agenda: Revisit Gina's recommendations for structure
from summer subcommittee meeting
c. Find out about sunset date, confirm Barry's recollection that
we've been extended to next year
9. Vote on approval of minutes from past meetings if possible
a. Motion to, approve 7/13/17 meeting minutes
