Brad Congdon, Patrick Tompkins, John Coote, Nancy Twomey, Members - Not Present: Mike Bean, Greg Stepler, David Traniello Others' Present: Facilities Director Joe Huggins, Assistant Facilities Director Kevin Cabuzzi, Bill Brown, Bob LeLacheur,Town Manager; Kevin Gerstner, Facility Manager Minutes Respectfully Submitted By: Topics of Discussion: Meeting was called. to order at 6:02 PM at Town Hall. Minutes.from 9-11-17 approved as amended. Joe Huggins introduced Kevin Gerstner. Bob LeLacheur told the group that the plans for Camp Curtis Guild fora shared DPW facility were made public one week prior. 'Bob LeLacheur went through next steps for the facility. He.also spoke about the changes to the capital plan. Joe Huggins went through the Noresco Semi -Annual Utility Report with the group. Kevin Gerstner will give the group a report on all three commodities. Kevin will give the group details on total run time for the buildings in terms of usage. Review of town land discussion began. The group reviewed the tax maps for possible locations. Patrick Tompkins reviewed the RMLD West Street location and talked about the sites conditions as a potential cemetery garage. Patrick also discussed_ the Causeway Road location. Beverly Road was also discussed as a potential site. The Strout Avenue location was also looked at. Lots of possibilities fora garage,were seen at this location. Page 1 1 Mill Street was also discussed but didn't look viable. The Building Facilities Condition Assessment Summary Sheet was.discussed. Nancy Twomey presented a Facilities Condition Checklist that can be used as.the assessment tool for all buildings within the town. The group will use this to assess Killam, Eaton and Birch Meadow. The first building will be the Killam Elementary and -the committee needs to set a date. The checklist will be converted into an excel format along with Patrick Tompkins' assessment tool.
