Tuesday, September 12, 2017
Pursuant to a meeting legally posted, the meeting of September 12, 2017 convened at 6:00 P.M.
in the Berger Room, 16 Lowell Street, Reading Town Hall.
Present: Elise Ciregna, Chairman
William Brown, Secretary.
Olive Hecht
Virginia Blodgett
Absent: Ron Stortz, Vice Chairman
Janet Baronian
Also Present: Jane Kinsella, Asst DPW Director
Review of Past Meeting Minutes
The Minutes of June 27, 2.017 were not approved because of a lack of quorum for that meeting.
General Business
The Board welcomed our newest member and look forward to working with her.
Jane explained that they have been unable to fill the supervisors position because of the
uniqueness of the position, but things are going okay.

Bill Brown gave an update on the progress or lack thereof of a new building. He explained that
the building committee wanted to make certain that they can defend the site for a new building
by looking at every possibility. .
Jane stated that the new foreman would like to have enclosed trailers to cut down on the amount
of time required to load to mow. Jane also noted that they are considering more temp help.
Bill Brown asked if senior tax help could be used to walk through and do cleanup etc, and she
felt it could be done.
Bill Brown suggested that some members of the Board may be interested in doing a survey of
unused graves in Laurel Hill.
Receipts are normal.

The meeting adjourned at 6:40 PM. The next meeting of the Board will be Tuesday, October 3,
2017.
