Topics of Discussion:
Called to order at 7:00 pm
• Membership - RHC now has five full voting members and one associate member. VA
moved to give Carl a token of appreciation for his years of service on the RHC. RHC
discussed ways to encourage new members to join. JEB Moved that RW be appointed as
Chair, JEB as Treasurer and SRS as Secretary. Vote 5-0.
• USPS Project - RW checked in with Andrew Corona; still no response from MHC. MHC
has received the letter of support submitted by RHC last month. MHC's previous
response was generated before they received our letter. We are all waiting to hear back
from MHC. There is a CPDC meeting scheduled for July 24 regarding the USPS. VA, JW
& SRS plan to attend.
• Lobs Pound Mill - 17th century grist and wood mill site on the Reading / North Reading
line on the Ipswich River. RHC's preference is that pipe be off the archeological site. JEB
has requested a response from the town regarding their position on this situation; which
has not yet been received. JEB plans to attend a Selectmen's meeting to ask again.
• Rules & Regulations - RHC plans to hold a hearing to adopt the Rules & Regulations.
SRS & JEB met to draft the legal notice. RHC discussed submitting information to the
town 2 weeks in advance. SRS will submit legal notice to Ann Gentile for the Chronicle
and the Town Clerk. JEB will submit copies to all appropriate individuals at town hall.
• Finances - SRS moved that the RHC pay up to $20.00 for a frame and card to honor
Carl's dedication to the RHC. Vote 5-0. All submitted expenses for the previous fiscal
year have been settled. The budget for 2017 - 2018 is $1,500.

0 119 Salem St - Keith Forlizzi, contractor for property has been in contact with
the town and Ron Weston regarding the demolition of this structure. RW asked if
the RHC would consider forgoing a new hearing; the RHC was not inclined to do
this. RW requested plans with a new demolition application. RHC should expect
an application in the near future.
o Monopoles - An article in the Chronicle mentioned that the MBTA has decided to
suspend the Wi-Fi project due to strong objections from various communities.
o Emails - VA mentioned an email regarding Fays Curtain shop from a gentleman
looking for documents regarding this business and property. 624 Main St owned
by Fay Levine. VA will compose a letter to be sent.
