MASS. 1011 JUN 20 P is 331 Location: Conference Room Session: Joint Meeting Version: Final Virginia Adams (VA) - Acting Member Jonathan Barnes (JEB)- Acting Chair Samantha Couture (SC) - Acting Member Sharlene Reynolds Santo (SRS) - Secretary Members - Not Present: Carl Mittnight, Jack Williams, Ron Weston Others Present: Historic District Commission - Greg Maganzini, Ilene Bornstein, Everett Blodgett, Virginia Adams and Priscilla Poehler Minutes Respectfully Submitted By: Sharlene Reynolds Santo Topics of Discussion: Called to order at 7:00 pm Everett Blodgett called the HD meeting to order and JEB Acting Chair of the RHC called the RHC meeting to order. JEB appointed SC and VA as voting members for this meeting. • 186 Summer Ave - Met with Historic District Commission to discuss a revised version of the Preservation Restriction Agreement for 186 Summer Ave. Both Commissions concluded that JEB should transmit this joint group's proposed revisions and questions to Town Counsel via Community Development Director's office. At 8:50 pm this discussion ended. At this point, HDC adjourned their meeting and left the room; RHC meeting continued. • 119 Salem St - Reviewed letter to Building Inspector regarding this property. • Monopole -Request for Comment from MBTA - There were several smalls to RHC with different plans, regarding proposed placement of monopoles at two locations on MBTA property. RHC purview is whether placement presents any adverse impacts on the Town's historic or cultural assets. The RHC does not oppose that placement of either pole, that neither, in our opinion affect the cultural or historical properties. RHC discussed any adverse impacts on historic or cultural resources In the area. JEB will communicate RHC's position to Ron Weston, who will transmit to META. Ask • Finances - JEB moved to reimburse VA $10.98 for photos printed for Garden Club event. SRS seconded. Vote 4-0. Page 1 1 • CPDC - Meeting on the former Post Office building 40R proposal will be at 8:30 pm on May 22nd. VA will be attending; SC and SRS; also plan to attend. The developer may postpone if they do not have approval from MHC by that date. This meeting does not need to be posted. • Celebration Trust Committee - SRS nominated SC as the RHC representative to the Celebration Trust Committee. JEB seconded. VOTE 4-0. • Minutes - RHC reviewed and approved the amended minutes from the May 10, 2017 meeting. Vote 4-0. • Next Meeting - June 14, 2017 at 7 pm • Adjourn at 10:30 pm L Page 1 2
