® Volunteer Appointment Subcommittee Meeting TOWN CLERK

The meeting convened at 6:45 p.m. in the Arnold Berger Conference RoodV i dift4ell 19ek, 32
Reading, Massachusetts. Present were Selectmen Ben Tafoya and James Bonazoli, Town
Manager Peter Hechenbleikner, candidates Jean Prato and Carie Torrence.
Jean Prato was interviewed for a position on the Council on Aging.
Carie Torrence was interviewed for a potential position on the Human Relations Advisory
Committee (HRAC), the Zoning Board of Appeals, Community Planning and Development
Commission or the Economic Development Committee. She expressed preference for the
Human Relations Advisory Committee and the Town Manager indicated that at the Selectmen's
Meeting the Board will be making the determination of the future of the HRAC. The Volunteer
Appointment Subcommittee asked Carie to think about the Zoning Board of Appeals or CPDC.
She indicated because of the time commitment she needed to talk to her family and she would
get back to the VASC through the Town Manager.
®They will make a further determination when Ms. Torrence determines what her preference
would be.
