A definition of Article 97 was shown and explained by Mr. Stepler. The open space and recreation plan inventory was also discussed. Symonds Way Field/ Burbank Ice Arena is noted as being a rare species habitat. It isn't known if restrictions are placed on the property. A review of the land use codes and the spreadsheet was reviewed by the committee. The committee discussed the importance of staying on course when pursuing a piece of land for a building. Page 1 1 The more information on the spreadsheet the better; such as access, rare species, endangered species... 70% if the land on the list are conservation land. This doesn't mean that the land isn't buildable. Mr. Coote is suggesting we go and look at some of the properties. Having Kim Honetschlager provide more information and filtering will allow us to see more properties that may work. The committee will ask Kim Honetschlager to filter the list and provide more information. Kim Honetschlager can filter by the following: right of way, endangered species, deed restrictions, square footage, and wetlands. Mr. Congdon will also take a look at the list and attempt to narrow it down and possibly a tour. Town Building assessment discussion began while looking at the document. Mr. Stepler had a building assessment from another municipality he converted to a word document for the group to review. The equipment list was reviewed. A working document needs to be developed in order to generate a report. Killiam MSBA worksheet will be sent to the committee. GIENAPP Design - ADA upgrade will be sent to the committee.
