Knight; It's been announced in RMLD's "In Brief"; Gina is writing a series of
Green Sense on topics of exhibitors; Gina and Ron will work on PR pieces; Ron
will take flyer to Bagel World; Gina will see if Parker will post a large poster since
it is at their school
• David needs flyer; he or Laurie Ann will also send to visitor from Direct Energy
• Several people have tried to reach Ray - Dave will work on that tomorrow
• Laurie Ann will update and get to David
• Direct Energy's Bill Fogel suggested Sonnen Batteries, largest supplier in US.
April 11 Presentation
o Presentation to Board of Selectmen - April 11, time not yet set
■ Presentation will be done by David Zeek
■ The Committee reviewed draft presentation slides prepared by David
working with Laurie Ann.
■ When David finds out what time he's on, members should try to attend on
April 11 (unfortunately, Ron's book discussion at the library was scheduled
last year for April 11, the book is "Atmosphere of Hope", so Ron cannot
attend). The book will be included under 'education' slide

Town of Reading - Meeting Minutes
Plastic bags
o Gretchen provided a formatted poster and asked for comments on wordiness.
o Members thought it was looking good, noted desire for local photographs.
o Ron and Gina will go to a couple of local plazas with reported bags stuck to the
fences for local photos.
o General discussion on instructional motion, perhaps board of selectman will have
suggestions.
Social Media
o Wordpress site was discussed, still needs edits, but looking very close. Still
question on boilerplate 'widget' language showing up.
Other
o Guest from Direct Energy provided example handout like what used for their
exhibit table at Earth Day Fair. They are interested and could help if Reading
and/or committee desired to do a "Solarize" project.
Adjourn at 8:55 PM
