The committee voted to approve the minutes from February 13th as amended. The committee began reviewing the refined list supplied by the Town's GIS coordinator Kim Honetschlager. Review of the available lots began as the group went through the spreadsheet. The group sited only 13 opportunities out of 173 possibilities. The 13 have 2 cemeteries, so 11 possibilities. Mr. Stepler asked if every piece of land listed as conservation fall under actual meaning of Conservation Land or is it just in the name only? In other words which pieces of land can be used and are not actual conservation land. He also asked if some of the land can be repurposed. The next step is to run the narrowed list by the Town Manager and have the "conservation land" designation ironed out. They also need to find out which pieces of land could be land swapped. The water department has the most available acreage and the group felt the most possibilities. The group now should take a possible field trip to look at the 11 sites. Before that happens the question about conservation land needs to be addressed. Page 1 1 Once that question is answered, Kim H can print out the 11 parcels on a map. Mr. Coote asked Mr. Brown about a smaller Laurel Hill Building and storage containers at the other cemeteries. Mr. Brown wasn't for this option due to the time restrictions for travelling from site to site. The group then discussed the town building assessment from Mr. Stepler. Stantec report gives us a format we could use. Mr. Stepler walked the group through the report and a condensed version of the report he put together that was in bullet point format. Mr. Stepler will send a list of information the group will need. The plan is to start with Killam. The meeting adjourned at 9:15 p.m. Page 1 2
