MASS. 1011 FEB 23 P 1=1 Location: Superintendent Conference Room Minutes Respectfully Submitted By: John Doherty, Superintendent Topics of Discussion: Executive Session 9:11 P.M. A. Call to Order Chair Croft called the Executive Session to order in the Superintendent's Office. Litigation Update Attorney Doneski updated the Committee on the status of the TLT litigation case. Mr. Dunlap's testimony began today before the Master. Mr. Doneski feels Mr. Dunlap is a good witness for the Town. Superintendent Doherty asked for clarification regarding a settlement offer and if we went to 7 figures would TLT settle. Mr. Doneski will attempt to elicit information from TLT's counsel regarding a settlement. Attorney Doneski said that Mr. Dunlap had asked about receiving compensation similar to what Mr. Capaldo was receiving for his testimony and asked the School Committee to extend the same rate to Mr. Dunlap. The School Committee agreed. Mr. Robinson asked about the possibility of bringing cases against Design Partnership of Cambridge, Ai - 3 and Brackett & Lucas. Page 1 1 Mr. Doneski will update the Committee at the June 2' meeting. Mr. Doneski left the meeting at 9:47 p.m. r !-Collective Bar ag ining Dr. Doherty feels that the last meeting was positive and that a tentative agreement has been reached. The agreement provides increases of 2-3-2.5% over the three-year contract. He pointed out that the Union gave up a lot the last time and this contract makes up for some of the sacrifices. The Union is schedule to vote on June 2'. ADDroval of Minutes Mr. Caruso moved, seconded by Mrs. Webb, to approve the executive session minutes dated February 24, 2014. The roll call vote was 6-0. Mr. Robinson, Mrs. Webb, Mrs. Borawski, Mr. Croft, Mr. Caruso and Mrs. Snow Dockser. Mr. Caruso moved, seconded by Mrs. Webb, to approve the executive session minutes dated April 23, 2014. The roll call vote was 6-0. Mr. Robinson, Mrs. Webb, Mrs. Borawski, Mr. Croft, Mr. Caruso and Mrs. Snow Dockser. Mr. Caruso moved, seconded by Mrs. Webb, to approve the executive session minutes dated May 6, 2014. The roll call vote was 6-0. Mr. Robinson, Mrs. Webb, Mrs. Borawski, Mr. Croft, Mr. Caruso and Mrs. Snow Dockser. Adjourn Mr. Caruso moved, seconded by Mrs. Webb, to adiourn and return to open session.
