A. Call to Order
Chair Croft called the Executive Session to order in the Superintendent's Office.
Pending Litigation
David Doneski of Kopelman & Paige updated the Committee on the TLT case. He reviewed the
major claim issues. He shared that there could be significant exposure to the town. If the School
Committee decides to pursue a settlement offer itneeds to be appealing to TLT to demonstrate
the Town is serious.
Mr. Caruso moved, seconded by Mr. Robinson, to authorize legal counsel to negotiate a
settlement offer with TLT up to $850,000.
Mr. Caruso asked clarifying questions regarding our financial options and offered an amendment
to the previous motion.
Mr. Caruso moved, seconded by Mrs. Borawski, to authorize legal counsel to negotiate a
settlement offer with TLT up to $900,000. The roll call vote carried 5-0. Mrs. Borawski,
Mr. Croft, Mr. Robinson, Dr. Snow Dockser and Mr. Caruso.
Mr. LeLacheur and Mr. Doneski left the meeting at 8:03 a.m.

Adjourn
Mr.,Caruso moved, seconded by Mrs. Borawski, to adiourn and return to open session.
The roll call vote carried 5-0. Mrs. Borawski, Mr. Croft, Mr. Robinson, Dr. Snow Dockser
and Mr. Caruso.
The meeting adjourned at 8:13 a.m.
