Topics of Discussion:
Meeting is called to order by S. Mulroy at 6:45PM.
J. Feudo walks through the new website and talks about constant contact and the landing
page for registration. The committee carefully goes through the fee options for vendors and
decides that there is a need to distinguish better between the oversized vehicle and the food
truck. After a discussion the committee agrees on the following:
Oversized vehicle $300 Food/Utility Truck $250
10 x 30 MAX 10 X 20 MAX
S. Mulroy suggests the options for registration be in the low to high price order. The
committee agrees and there are no other adjustments at this time to the registration fees.
The committee discusses the late fee of $50. A. Ullman will remind people the Thursday
before.
S. Mulroy makes a motion to accept the fees for registration as presented. B. Beckman
seconds. All committee members are in favor 5-0.
S. Mulroy asks about the development of the 9/11 Tribute the day of the faire. B. Beckman
has talked to two different bands about playing tribute songs. S. Mulroy says the Reading
Community Singers would be willing to perform.
A brief discussion takes place on having simultaneous performances on Woburn and Haven
for the tribute. J. Feudo suggests a flag be passed down the crowd. The committee likes the
idea. L. Egan asks about respect for the flag. J. Feudo said he would find out from the
Veterans Services Officer at the Town Hall. B. Beckman asks about the Police bagpipe
ensemble. J. Feudo says that it is confirmed with K. Stasiak from the Police Department.
J. Feudo asks committee if anyone is interested in continuing to develop the new website
and brings up possibly hiring someone. B. Snell says he has a contact in mind. S. Mulroy

makes a motion to allocate up to $500 to the continued construction of the website. L.
Leahy seconds. All are in favor 5-0.
The committee briefly discusses WEPAY vs PAYPAL. B. Snell suggests keeping WEPAY since
they changed the account statement line to reflect the Reading Fall Street Faire. The
committee also emphasizes the importance of the disclaimer that will indicate no refunds.
B. Snell circles back on the 9/11 tribute and says he talked to Camp Curtis Guild about
being involved. He adds that Camp Curtis Guild is also affiliated with an organization called
Home Base. J. Feudo says to keep the committee updated on their participation.
The committee discusses the Fall Street Faire poster design. The discussion covers possible
redesign in regards to size and content. The committee feels that the Reading Fall Street
Faire and the race sign should be one cohesive sign and that yes, new signs should be
made. Committee members mention getting in touch with PureFit Reading on details and
clarifications for the signs and for sponsorship. B. Snell makes a motion to allocate up to
$700 for poster redesign and distribution. S. Mulroy seconds. All are in favor 5-0.
J. Feudo mentions an app called guidebook that will allow the community access to details,
maps, events, etc. that pertain to the Reading Fall Street Faire. The committee thinks it is a
great idea and will looking into pricing.
B. Snell makes a motion to adjourn at 8:15pm. S. Mulroy 2nds the motion. All are in favor
5-0.
