Topics of Discussion:
Meeting called to order at 7:20 by S. Mulroy.
Brian Snell was added to the meeting via phone and the committee role called.
L. Leahy presented the posters to the committee. Committee seemed to like the posters. L. Leahy will forward
to C. Cipriani to make sure race info is correct.
• 911 Ceremony
B. Snell stated he is working with Camp Curtis Guild, the HS Marching Band and others to participate in the
parade. He is looking to close a small part of Main Street. For a short amount of time.
K. Bonazoli entered at 7:26 PM.
• Honor Guard
Sheila Mulroy made motion to approve a $250 suggested donation for the Police Honor Guard for the 911
tribute provided they can give RFSF an invoice for the donation. Second by Leslie Lahey Motion carried by a
vote of3-0-0.
Discussion about whether the Honor Guard could get a sponsorship from another source (Tred, Snapfit, etc.)
• Entertainment
Reading Gymnastics and The Dancing School would like to participate again.

Alison Ulman to contact Tread to see if they'd like present a 30 minute kickboxing demo on the stage
Bob Beckman to contact company about the sound and the availability of the high school stage
Brian Snell to reach out to Mike Testa about the Haven St stage.
Volunteers
Kristin Bonazoli added a column for 911 volunteers on the volunteers sign up page die crowd control.
5K Race
Brian Snell to contact Catarina Cipriani about changes to shirt.
Kidzone Update and Amusements
Nothing to report on Kidzone.
John Feudo will ask Perfect Parties USA to attend an upcoming meeting.
• We will request that they set up a booth near Kidszone again but that they staff it. If not, Denise Eaton will
need a larger "bank" with more change.
Registrations and Booth Placement
Registrations opened to the public on 6/15. 62 vendors have registered.
Alison Ulman will send another email reminder after July 4`h
Usborne Books requested a lower rate. We cannot offer the lower rate but Sheila Mulroy will reply to them and
suggest that they share a booth or see if they can get a sponsor.
Cupcake City questioned the increased cost from $100 to $275 for a truck. Discussion about charges and it
was decided that they should register for (2 )10x10 spots that will accommodate their truck. Sheila will convey
message.
Sheila Mulroy to follow up with Calaressos and Home Dept about participation
Bob Beckman to contact new owner of Post Office to get OK about using back parking lot and to register on
his/her behalf for a spot in front of the post office at $0.
It was noted that the walkie-talkies from Tom O'Connor were very helpful last year it would be great to have
them again.
Brian Snell to contact Eastern Bank about using parking lot.
Motion made by Sheila Mulroy to adjourn. Seconded by Leslie Leahy. Approved by a vote of 3-0-0.
Meeting adjourned at 8:40 PM.
