January 24, 1989
The meeting convened at 12 :00 midnight in the Selectmen's Meet-
ing Room, 6 Lowell Street, Reading, Massachusetts Present were
-- Chairman Nigro , Vice-Chairman Graham, Secretary Ziegler,
Selectmen Russell, Town Manager Peter I. Hechenbleikner and Fin
Com Chairman Don Allen.
On motion by Ziegler seconded by Russell the board approved the
January 10, 1989 minutes by vote of 4-0-0.
The Town Manager will go to Fin Com for a $4300 Reserve Fund
Transfer for the Risk Assessment on the former DPW site.
Police negotiations are progessing along. Brass pay is still a
big issue. The Town Manager proposal's is a 4/3 4/3 and a 5 1/2
increase. Don Allen suggested a straight 7% increase.
