The Board discussed Sidelinker's proposal for the Foster Emerson House. The Board asked for
the following information:
1. A definite list of contractors who will be working on the house with a list of their
experience. If the Sidelinkers are going to be doing some of the work, their
experience should be noted.
2. The minimum cost of$61,000.
3. Meeting all the terms of the RFP.
MacDonald noted that this seems like a reasonable proposal. This will be 98% of the funds that
would be generated by the Friends' proposal.
On motion by MacDonald seconded by Hoyt, the Board of Selectmen voted to use the above as
the Town's negotiating position with an answer no later than 6/23/98. On a roll call vote, all four
members present voted in the affirmative and the motion was carried.
Matt Nestor was designated as the Board of Selectmen member to be involved in this discussion
negotiation.
On motion by MacDonald seconded by Hoyt, the Board voted to adjourn their meeting of June 2,
1998 at 7:29 p.m. on a roll call vote with all four members present voting in the affirmative.
Resectfully submitted,
