HomeMy WebLinkAbout2002-08-21 Board of Selectmen Executive Session Minutes Board of Selectmen Meeting Executive Session August 21, 2002 The meeting convened at 7:05 p.m. in the Selectmen's Meeting Room, 16 Lowell Street, Reading, Massachusetts. Present were Chairman Camille Anthony, Vice Chairman Matthew Cummings, Secretary Richard Schubert, Selectmen George Hines and Gail Wood, Town Manager Peter Hechenbleikner. Sale of Real Estate—Landfill The Town Manager reviewed the status of the second and third amendments to the agreement between the Town of Reading and Dickinson Development Corporation. The second amendment had to do with environmental issues and sediment in the brook, and the third amendment had to do with alternative uses. The Town Manager noted that these amendments were in conformance with the requests made by the Board of Selectmen in Executive Session at their previous meeting. On motion by Hines seconded by Cummings, the Board voted to approve the second amendment to the agreement between the Town of Reading and Dickinson Development Corporation. On a roll call vote, all five members voted in the affirmative and the motion was carried. On motion by Cummings seconded by Hines, the Board voted to approve the third amendment to the agreement between the Town of Reading and Dickinson Development Corporation. On a roll call vote, all five members voted in the affirmative and the motion was carried. On motion by Cummings seconded by Wood, the Board voted to adjourn their Executive Session Meeting of August 21, 2002 at 7:25 p.m. on a roll call vote with all five members voting in the affirmative.
