Topics of Discussion:
258 Main St Demolition Delay Release- To date owner has not yet fulfilled the
commitment they made to the RHC to obtain an early release. CM to follow up.
• 309 Haven St Demolition Delay Released- To date owner has not yet fulfilled the
commitment they made to the RHC to obtain an early release. CM to follow up.
337 Pearl St is now on the market Marian Gaw wants to tear down this property CM
has been In contact with her.
• 287 Ash St owners could potentially apply to have their garage demolished
Houses on the Market
0 94 Salem St CM has tried to get RHC a tour of property
0 456 Haverhill St - years ago the RHC did tour this property and made an
agreement with the owner regarding the additions they were doing to our knowledge
they respected the agreement.
0 228 Woburn St - May have been sold recently to someone wanting to flip the
property; group discussed trying to get a tour of the home.
a Finances CM has met with Nancy Heffernan regarding the various RHC accounts.
Discussed moving funds from 4713 Account to the Historic Trust Account 4725. Per VA
the 4713 account Is for donations and funds received from the sale of books such as
"Roof Trees" these funds do not have the restrictions of the 4725 account. RHC agreed
that no transfers should be made.

o JB moved that RHC spend $75 to obtain a booth at the Street Faire on September
11t° JW seconded Vote 4-0
o VA gave JB slip for a deposit of$125 for At Wood End
• Archives - With the summer season upon us, little time has been spent there recently.
• Topics not defined In advance
o CPDC meeting 7/19 at 6 pm Town is trying to extend the Smart Growth area in the
downtown section. VA questioned if the town really needs this designation, what the
benefits may actually be and what the impact would be on historic preservation.
o Street Faire is coming up in September; Jack is working on printing the Sanborn
maps. Funds were allocated at a previous meeting.
o VA received an email from Ann Gentile regarding Clarence DeMar; who won the
Boston Marathon 7 times. The gentleman VA spoke with had seen the RCN show
that Virginia did on Clarence. VA plans to meet with him to assist with the prologue
he is writing for a book about Clarence DeMar named "Marathan".
o VA handed out a copy of the most recent walk done of Woburn St. by Walkable
Reading.
