Topics of Discussion:
1. Call to order: Alicia Williams called the meeting to order 7:07pm
2. Motion to approve 2/10/16 minutes called by Kate Goldlust. Approved.
3. Carolyn Wilson discussed DESE survey. Being sent out to parents of students on an IEP. TOis
year's indicator focus is on Parent Involvement.
4. Discussion of development of SEPAC flyer. Subcommittee including Nicole Fidas and Tara to
begin working on it.
5. Discussion regarding October 2017 elections. Consider having ballot box to drop off absentee
ballots for those who cannot attend election meeting.
6. Discussion regarding World Cafe including possible themes (ie. inclusive community, parent and
student support resources, sharing of resources. Consider sending out survey to gather
preferences for World Cafe and SEPAC 2016-2017 topics. Kate Goldlust and Erin to work on
survey questions.
7. Carolyn Wilson offered updates on transportation. Training for NRT drivers and monitors tool
place in Jan/Feb. Videos being reviewed weekly by Carolyn & principals. C. Wilson requested
that parents report incident ASAP as video recordings are eventually recorded over. NRT
contracts renegotiated. NRT responsible for notifying district of time schedule changes within'2
days of being made.
8. SPED program exhibition help with SPED staff on 2/24. Included poster presentations and
artifacts from each program. Questions were tracked from each program. Zones of Regulation
presentation to be presented at the Blue Ribbon Conference on 4/15/16. This is open to public
as well as educators/staff.
9. Carolyn Wilson discussed conversion of data management for IEP documents. Changing from
Sems Tracker to E -Sped to better meet district and state requirements. Will occur in May/Junje

timeframe. E -Vault will allow district to keep all data in Sems Tracker for additional year
electronically.
10. Special Olympics to take place May 5th.
Kate Goldlust moved to adjourn the meeting. Maura seconded.
