Topics of Discussion:
Mr. Redfern opened the meeting at 7:04 p.m.
The Zoning Board of Appeals held a meeting to review MGL Ch. 44 Sect. 53G and possible adoption. Mr.
Redfern summarized the acceptance would authorize the Town to open a municipal account to pay the peer
review consultants acquired for the proposed 40B Reading Village.
The Board discussed their responsibility on authorizing a consultant that the Town staff recommends
On a motion made by Mr. Traniello, seconded by Mr. Jarema, the Zoning Board of Appeals adopted the
Regulations and Procedures pursuant to M.G.L. c. 44 Sec. 53G for any Special Permit or Comprehensive
Permit for which the Board feels that outside consultants are needed. These regulations authorize the Town, to
set up a Special Municipal Account for Consultant Review Fees, and will be utilized for the pending
Comprehensive Permit Application in Case # 16 -02 on the property located at 39-41 Lincoln Street and 2 -12
Prescott Street in Reading, Massachusetts.
Vote was 5 -0 -0 (Redfern, Traniello, Jarema, Caoutte, Hackett)
The Board discussed attending the joint meeting being held by the Board of Selectmen and the Community.
Planning and Development Commission on February 23, 2016 at Parker Middle School. The proposed 406
Reading Village will be discussed.

On a motion made by Mr. Traniello, seconded by Mr. Jarema, the Zoning Board of Appeals moved to approve
the minutes dated December 17, 2015 as amended.
Vote was 5 -0 -0 (Redfern, Jarema, Caouette, Traniello, Hackett).

minutes dated January 7, 2016 as amended.
