Pierce reported "that the balance in the BayBank Middlesex Checking Account for 667 -C was $2,236.98 as of October 31,1977 , - - -- -As . of November 15,.1977 -after-payment-of-the ' above. checks due at tt i time the balance in the BayBank account is $2,139.03. All rents had been co lec- ted for the month of November which totalled $5,417.00. The balance in the Charlestown savings account was $34,977.43 plus interest. Upon a motion made by Mr,,,Johnson and seconded by Mr. Dempster, it was unanimously:... _ VOTED: To accept,ihe Financial Report as read. The Acting Chairman thereupon declared sa,id.. motion 'carried ' and said vote in a feet. Mrs. Pierce distributed opien 5of,4 letter from pCA concerning unem loy- ment compensation payments which Authorities will soon be required to make un er a new law. A choice of two payment methods by employers has been given under this Act and they are as follows: 1. Contributory Method: ~Under this financing method, municipalities will make quarterly payments to a State Unemployment Insurance Fund for Public Employers administered by the Division of &plmyment Security. 1, The members of the Reading Housing Authority met in regular session at 22 Frank D. Tanner Drive in the Town of Reading, Massachusetts, at 700 P.M. on Tuesday, November 15, 1977• The meeting was caleed to order by Mr. Stratton] acting for Mr. White, Chairman, who was not present. Those members also present were Mr. Dempster and Mr. Johnson. Mrs. Pierce, the Executive Director, was also present. Upon a motion made by Mr. Dempster and seconded by Mr. Johnson, it was unanimously" VOTED; To accept for the record, the Secretary's Report for the regular meeting held October 11, 1977, copies of which had previously been mailed to all members of the Board. The acting Chairman thereupon declared said motion carried and said vote in effect.
