Dear Mrs, Pierce:
As you are aware, three members of my staff, Mr. Balcerzak,
Mr. Pelczarski and Mr. Watkins, made an on -site visit to your
Authority on November 71 1977• The purpose of this visit was
to evaluate the progress of the PHA in regard to the Section 8
Program. During this visit the following was observed:
a
1. Approximately four cartons of files had been received fron
the Board of Selectmen who formerly administered the ProgY
vo" 2. Dave Scott Consultant In
(DST) had been put under aontr,
'= by the PHA to continue the implementation of the Program.
- Two a taffinembers of DST, Mr. Salvucci and Mr. Brady were
utilizing the community room in sorting the"four cartons
of files.
Because of the eopditi.Qn af the files it was impossible to
conduct a Section 8 Riwiew• DST indicated that it would take
the entire month of November and perhaps a portion of December
before the files aro up to date for an Audit.
We shall continRe to remain in _contact with the Reading Housing
Authority relative'to its program and to schedule a Section 8
Review in the future.
Sincerely,
James amrock
