READING HOUSING AUTHORITY Reading, Massachusetts MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING - OCTOBER 11, 1977 The members of the Reading Housing Authority met in regular session at 7 :30 P.M. on Tuesday, October 11, 1977 at 22 Frank D. Tanner Drive in the Tow of Reading, Massachusetts. i The meeting was called to order by the Chairman, Mr. White. Those me bers also present were Mr. Stratton and Mr. Dempster, forming a quorum. Mrs. Pierce, the Executive Director, was also present. Upon a motion made by Mr, Stratton and seconded by Mr. Dempster, it was unanimously: VOTED: To accept for the record, the Secretary's Report for the regu a meeting eld September 12, 1977 and also for the Special Meeting held on September 28, 1977, copies of which had previously been mailed to all members of the Board. The Chairman thereupon declared said motion carried and said vote in effect. Upon �a motion made by Mr Stratton and seconded by Mr. Dempster, it was unanimously: �.. VOTEDs To approve and paychecks and bills, a list of which is at h: hereto mmade a part of these Minutes and sent previously to all members, =. the amount of $4,373.59 for Project #567 -C. The Chairman ' thereupon declared said motion carried and said vote in effect,' The Quarterly Operating ,Statement for the period ended September 30, L 9, for Project #667 -C was brought to the attention of the meeting, and the vari u: expenses discussed among the'members. = The Board was satisfied that everything seemed to bd' -going along as expected for this first quarter in the fiscal yeLr, Mm,. Pierce reportl that the balance in the BayBank Middlesex Checking account for 667-C was $1,1$4.70 as of September 30, 1977. As of October llt after payment of the above checks due at-this time," the balance in this acco 1 is $2,228,11. All rents had been collected for the month of October, -which totalled $5.417.00 The balance in the Charlestown Savings account was $34,977,43 plus interest. Upon a motion made by Mr.- Dempster and seconded by Mr. Stratton, it w unanimously: 3. If you do not accept the condition, then treat the contract as not in effect. It is our understanding that the $12,800 annually which you will receive under this contract is to be prorated for those months in which you actually work under this contract and in the event that the first payment made to you of $2,000 should be after the 20th date, then the next- monthly payment shall not be due until the 1st of the secarrd Month thereafter.
