The members of the Reading gouxi,na Authority met in regular session at 22
Frank D. Tanner Drive in the Town of Reading, Masaachusette on Monday, January 1i2r
1976 at 7 :30 P. Me
The meeting was called to order by the Chairman, Mrs White. The other m
bens present were fir. Dubi and Mr. Johnson, forming a quorum. Mrs. Pierce, the
utive Director, was also present.
Upon a motion made by Imoo pube and seconded by Mr. Johnson, it was uum

Upon a motion made by Aire Johnson and seconded by Mr. Dubes it was unanimouslT:

The Chairman thereupon declared said motion carried and said vote in effect, and
the
!� checks were signed.
At this time, Middlesex Bank forms and signature cards were distri.butod to
be signed by all members. This is required by the Bank in order that their records
be updated to include Mr. Johnson as a member of the Board with the power to zgn
checks. Those members present signed the forms, and Mrs. Pierce said she wou d get
Mr. Stratton's and Mr. Dempster's signatures during the month.
Operating Statements for the quarter ending December 31, 1976 for Prof ect
667-0 were reviewed by the members, and it was noted particularly that the elec-
tricity costs, Account #14320, was considerably less than the amount budgeted or
to date. Mrs. Pierce explained that the reason for this was that the Authori, y had
received two credits in recent months from the Municipal Light Dept. from Edison
adjustments, and also the early part of the winter had been very mild. The next
quarter's figures should refa.ect a more realistic comparison.
Mrs. Pierce reported that the balance in the Middlesex Bank Checking �ccount
for 667-0 was $3,757,13 as of December 31, 1975. As of the date of this meeting after
payment of the above checks due at this ti the balance in this account was'
me, , $3,477.25.

The balance in the CharXestowa Savings Account was $30,193.30 plus interest,
it was also reported that rents for the month of January had been co lected�

Copies ,of a draft of the Annual Report for 1975 as prepared by Mrse'Pierce
` were passed around and reviewed for comments* After a brief discussion and few .
minor changes were made, a motiom was made by Mr., Dube and seconded by Mr. Johnson

this program be submitted including a breakdown of the administrative ' expenses and
