CM had a chat with Sharon Angstrom; from the town's finance Get department; regarding RHC accounts. Mitigation amounts will go into reports CM Finances Account # 47251501; Historical Commission Preservation Trust Fund. RHC doesn't have a current budget summary from the town. All Submit All reimbursed will submitted will submitted by the end of the month. Ex VA proposed that copies of the inventory be printed for RHC members Historical & to use while they are on the commission; these copies to be returned Architectural when they leave the commission. RW moved that the RHC spend up Inventory to $500 to make copies for commission members of the Historical and Architectural Inventory. JW seconded. VOTE 5 -0. Garden Club VA made a beautiful display for the Preservation Month event and Event Booth many residents stopped by. VA, CM, JB, JW all spend time at the booth. CM submitted an article to the Reading Chronicle that should be MF Charles printed soon included are materials from David O'Sullivan; local architect regarding the restoration of this property. Wireless RHC discussed the letter CM wrote regarding telecommunication Antenna antenna at 1 General Way. Page 1 1 Page 1 2 • 94 Salem St beautiful home at corner of Salem and Pearl St. CM Houses for Sale will contact realtors about getting a tour for the RHC. • 456 Haverhill St., Benjamin Pratt House. CM & VA continue to work regularly at the Archives. RHC discussed Archives the idea of the Archives moving to the Library and speaking with the Selectmen regarding the costs and general concerns about such a project. Walkable VA reviewed walkable Reading's recent tour including Woburn, Paperwrk Reading Summer and Prescott streets. Paperwork to be deposited into the to VA town archives by VA. Archives Lobs Pound Mill JB has some photos he will provide to the RHC electronically. Photos JB VA spoke with Barry Berman, Selectman, regarding ideas to use for Memorial Day his Memorial Day talk. VA read Barry's talk which featured materials she had from Reading resident, Alice Hunter a nurse in WWI. CM moved to accept the minutes as amended from April 25, 2016 Vote 5 -0. Minutes JB moved to accept the minutes as amended from May 2 &14, 2016 Vote 5 -0. SRS moved to accept the minutes as amended from June 7, 2016 Vote 5 -0. Next Meeting July 7, 2016 at 7:30 pm Adjourned The meeting adjourned at 9:35 pm Copies of referenced correspondence and documents are kept in Meeting Minutes binder and relevant project folders located in the Reading Historical Commission Archives, lower level of the Reading Town Hall.
