Topics of Discussion:
® The meeting was called to order at 7:00 pm in the Arts and Crafts Room of the Pleasant Street Senior
Center. Minutes of the previous meeting were approved.
Treasurer's Report was presented. Everything has been paid out, except for the Reading Art
Association grant in the amount of $500. We paid out $1030 to Creative Arts, leaving a balance of
$813.04. There is an anticipated expense of $20. The Treasurers report was approved.
Donna reported that the January 11, 2016 meeting will be held in the Lounge at the Senior Center due
to prior booking of the Arts and Crafts room. She also suggested that at the next meeting we vote on
getting an additional poster to be displayed at events we are supporting. She will do some pricing and
we can finalize at the January meeting.
Discussion turned to the grant awards. Several of the applications were considered disqualified
because they didn't meet our criteria:

There was a short discussion about the next steps. Donna will send out the rejection letters which will
include the reconsideration process. We need to allow 15 days for grievances. Then the award letters
will be sent out. Jane and Donna will complete the Annual Report. We will be planning for the
Reception for grantees in May, 2016. In February there is the LCC Statewide Assembly at the
Ok statehouse on the 10th. Nora gave a brief report about the collaborative of arts programs in
Reading —their new name is Arts Reading.
Meeting adjourned at 8:25 pm.
