Public CM gave a brief summary of the purpose of the hearing and the Hearing process then introduced RHC members and property owner. VA presented some background on the structure including its appearance on the National Registry. Several town resident spoke. Neighbors were curious about new structure, couple of residents expressed concern about losing another historic structure. AC stated that he would be willing to work with the RHC to compromise on design with hopes of shortening the delay. CM moved that the presented information is sufficient to make a final determination on the requested demolition of the structure at 309 Haven St and that the public hearing be closed. JB seconded Vote 4 -0 CM moved that the loss of the structure at 309 Haven St would be detrimental to the Town under the purposes of this bylaw (7.2.1) and that a demolition delay of up to six (6) months be imposed beginning this date. JW seconded. Vote 4 -0 CM will notified the Building Inspector that a Delay on Demolition of 309 Haven St for up to 6 months had been imposed on the property. e CM mowed to Close the hearing at 8:30 pm SRS seconded Vote 4 -0. Lob's Pound JB gave an update on the Town's and a public meeting that was Contact MHD JW Mill coming up. JW will check with MHD contact. Demolition Reviewed status of 186 - Find ref SRS Delays 186 Summer Ave — still need photos promised by Criterion to offer of 258 Main St send letter to owner re: beehive photos 309 Haven St. 258 — start RW letter Reading Public Library VA shared that the foundation of the port- cochere has been poured Train Depot After a brief discussion of materials, it was agreed that the tower seemed out of scale for this historic structure. Membership CM still waiting to hear from Bob Lecheur regarding JW moving up to Contact BL CM full membership. Misc VA is working with Chris Skelly at MHC on the success and failures Readin 's use of the Demolition Belay Bylaw Adjourned The meeting adjourned at 10:00 pm.
