Meade made motion to accept, seconded by Singer. Approved 3:0 Monthly Report Out of the 30 doses of shingles vaccine provided free from state health department, 24 shots have been given. Orange Leaf Frozen Yogurt, 610 Main Street, opened in December. Clay will be working with IT Department to get the electronic food inspection program up and running. Clay advised that some communities are looking into revising their tobacco regulations to increase the age to purchase tobacco products to 19 or 21. A joint Board of Health meeting of Reading, Melrose and Wakefield will be held in February and Maureen Buzby will provide information. Hallmark Health was awarded a grant for $750,000 to look at use of opiate medication for back pain. Friedmann inquired if RCASA could provide an overview of treatments for substance abuse. Clay will invite Erica McNamara to attend March board meeting. Clay advised that MSPCA at Nevins Farms will no longer be available for animal disposal. A freezer has been purchased and Installed at the DPW garage. L. Russo will continue to pick up animals and bring to garage. When freezer is 3A full, Angel View will pick up. Page I 1 Clay advised that at Spring Town Meeting two Items will be on the agenda: amending Article 16 Annual Town Meeting Warrant to add Board of Health which was omitted on chart and to broaden the language for use of funds in Health Revolving Fund.
