It was noted that Mr. Everson is qualified but there is no vacancy on the Committee at this time. Mr. Everson noted that one of the Associates is moving out of Town and he hopes to fill that vacancy when it becomes available. John Halsey noted that once that resignation is received we will post the vacancy and then make an appointment. The Committee interviewed Seema Lynch for a position on the Human Relations Advisory Committee. Kevin Sexton noted that this position is for a Selectmen's designee to represent them on the Committee. John Halsey noted that most of her communication would be with Kevin Sexton because he is the liaison to that committee. He also noted that the Human Relations Advisory Committee is contemplating becoming private and becoming a 501c because it Is tough to talk about human relations when you're a public entity. Seema Lynch noted that she lived in China for a number of years. She also lived in Melrose and she is an attorney. She asked if the Selectmen support what the Committee wants to do and John Halsey noted that they are restraining them from what they want to do. Ms. Lynch noted that this committee ties in all aspects of her life and she feels educating people is a great mission.
