Minutes Respectfully Submitted By: Joan Boegel
Topics of Discussion:
• Review and approve minutes of recent meeting. The committee voted to
approve minutes of the 03/25/2015 meeting as written by Joan Boegel.
Business Recycle Bin
• Ron D'Addario reported that tacit approval for the business recycling bin was
received from CPDC at their meeting on April 6. Tom Flanagan from JRM was
at the meeting to answer questions and show pictures of the bin, which was
very helpful. Ron thanked Gina for her very professional report and Laurie
Ann for putting the survey results together.
• On May 5, the Committee will go before the Board of Selectmen to seek their
approval for the recycle bin. The project cannot go forward without this
approval. Ron has asked Tom Flanagan to come to that meeting and Gina will
try to be there.
April 14 Board of Selectmen's Meeting
o The Committee is scheduled to do a very brief presentation to the Selectmen
on April 14 at 7:40 p.m. Ron and David will present two slides - first, our
Earth Day flyer and second, a slide on Community Shared Solar.
o Joan will prepare the slide on CSS, based on the RMLD press release which
Tom 011ila emailed to the CSS working group (Gina, Joan and Mike), and
email the slide to Ron. Joan will also forward the RMLD press release to all
Climate Advisory Committee members.
o Ron will email both slides to Paula Schena tomorrow, so that she will have
them in advance of the Board meeting.
