Several members of the RHC attended the forum on March Historic 30, 2015 at the Lexington Depot, 13 Depot Square in Preservation Lexington, MA. The successes of saving homes at 409 Planning Grove St and 420 Franklin Street along with the RHC's Forum efforts with 186 Summer Avenue and the creation of the Local Historic District were discussed at the forum. SRS replied. • An article in "Reading's" magazine was published with a quote from VA. • The Princeton (MA) Historical Commission inquired about Reading's Town Common historic guidelines. VA replied. • A resident asked the RHC to identify a historic home in Write note to Reading for a merit badge project. CM accepted the gift. • Eric Howard, grandson of the family that once owned 186 Summer Avenue requested to look inside the house. VA responded but no plans were made for a tour. VA also inquired if he had any family photos The Hearing is scheduled for April 16, 2015. VA responded that more space is needed for Archives? the archives but that the RHC would need more information to discuss any proposed move. In particular, the RHC has questions about the security of the room. Chris Skelley asked if the RHC were willing to host a Demolition workshop on administrating demolition delay processes. The Delay RHC agreed that they would host. VA will work with Chris Workshop Skelley on scheduling the workshop. The Board of Selectmen (BOS) were meeting this evening BOS and their agenda included a discussion about their proposed Meeting: bylaw for upcoming Town Meeting about Associate Members Associate and voting. Because of the importance of this subject to the Members/ RHC, JEB and SRS left to join the BOS meeting and Voting discussion. Adjourned The meeting adjourned at 9:55 pm.
