Topics of Discussion:
I. PARCC update
a. Preparation happening in classrooms
b. Technical training for students and teachers
c. Parents liked that the technical tutorial was in the newsletter
II. MTSS /behavior matrix update
a. Presented PART at home to MTSS team
b. Parents asked if it is a static document once published or ever evolving?
III. Updates from parents
a. Poojah provided budget binder and update on budget
b. Increased user fee for athletics
c. Lauren and Poojah discussed having the school use the new town library more
IV. Vision discussion -Why are we here and where are we going?
a. Paul
i. Should be an offshoot of the district vision
ii. Should we review the district vision and develop from there?
b. Lauren
i. Growth from 6th -8th grade and increasing independence
ii. Giving students space to develop their identity
iii. Teaching choice making and self control

iv. Meeting students where they are and providing an environment where a
student can grow at their level
