J. Feudo introduced Brenda Doherty and Steve Collins from RYL. They were before the
committee to propose a scoreboard for Collins Field at Parker Middle School.
SCOREBOARD AT PARKER
Ms. Doherty mentioned the HS girls currently play their games at Parker field and there is
no scoreboard. Both varsity and JV struggle with the fact that time has to be kept on the
sidelines and nobody knows the score. She stated they are looking for something simple
and functional with possible solar options. There would be no advertising on it.
The committee supported the concept and asked for them to return to the committee with a
plan including location, height, size, plan of funding and work with RMLD on electricity.
The Committee asked J. Feudo and B. Winne to meet with BOS Liaison John Halsey to
discuss Recreation and some of the past history as it relates to the schools.
RESERVE A GAME
The Committee discussed Reserve a Game Tennis and how it would be implemented. K.
Kaminer thought it would be an added value to the current pass situation by allowing folks
to reserve a court. The committee felt two courts at Birch Meadow and others around town
