Topics of Discussion:
Mr. Dockser called the meeting to order at 7 pm.
Mr. Dockser discussed his inquiry with Town Counsel about the procurement of CPA
services for this investigation. There is an exemption from Chapter 30B
procurement related to CPA services. More investigation is needed and it will
depend on the scope of the project.
The subcommittee reviewed the proposal that Mr. Chris Rogers sent from the last
meeting. Conclusion was reached to limit the scope to RMLD equipment disposal
and then Town and Schools.
Mr. Powers joined the meeting at 7:20 pm. He laid out a procedure for
investigating the sale of surplus property, here the trucks from RMLD, followed by
investigating town and school transactions in a 3 phase proposal, the above being
#1 and #2. He also recommended a review of areas where cash is moved into
accounts as well as capital assets for the town bodies as a P phase. He believes
that this is a one calendar month process to accomplish.
On a motion by Mr. McNeice seconded by Mr. Lvdecker the subcommittee
voted to adjourn 4 -0, at 8:30 Dm.
Respectfully submitted,
Secretary
