Discussed email from Kathleen Drummey re: historic
document relating the RMHS. These documents
have been given to Everett Blodgett.
Received a call from a potential buyer of 379
Haverhill St VA responded. The realtor John Ross
had previously offered to given RHC the option for a
tour, because many of us have seen the house we
felt that we didn't need to take the realtors time and
we could go to an open house to view the property.
A message was received from someone associated
with the Barrows School requesting info but did not
leave contact information.
Another inquiry came in regarding 165 South St
from Bill Johnson regarding occupancy history via
census — did not exist prior to 1940's - VA & RS
responded.

The Carriage House Bylaw is being incorporated into
Carriage
the Accessory Apartment Bylaw. RHC reviewed the
House
text of the Carriage House Bylaw and of the
BylawlAcce
Accessory Appartment Bylaw to ensure the correct
ssory Apt
language was included in the Accessory Apartment
Bylaw
Bylaw to protect historic carriage houses. RHC
inserted a number of suggested additions to the text.
Old South
RHC discussed PVC version of the Preservation
Plaque
Award plaque and decided on a more upscale
version to more appropriately reflect the importance
of the restoration and preservation of the Steeple
and Bell Tower by the Old South United Methodist
Church. CM approved to spend up to $400 on a
Is us.
75 Pearl St
RHC reviewed three main areas of the changes to
Submit
75 Pearl. (1) Discussed ways to mitigatelremove the
comments to
need for raising the grade by 84 ", such as a ramp
CPDC of results
extending to the existing doorway and an indoor
of this
ramp to navigate the 5 steps inside the building. (2)
conversation.
Discussed concerns that the canopy over the ramp
to the door blocked from view the intricate brickwork
surrpounding the front door. Possibilities included
using a lower profile metal and glass canopy to let in
more light and help to show more of the brickwork.
(3) RHC also requested reusing granite steps
instead of burying them under the ramp. For many
of these types of projects, the granite is repurposed
as curbing or benches.
