Time: 7:30 PM AA JUN I I A 9: 08 Location: Conference Room Peggy Caouette, Lynne Cassinari, Eileen Collins, Catherine Folan, Colleen O'Shaughnessy Members - Not Present: Nancy Snow, Jacalyn Shelton Wallace Others Present: Maryann Kozlowski, Rose Lewis, Donna Schenkel Minutes Respectfully Submitted By: Colleen O'Shaughnessy Topics of Discussion: The minutes of the January 6, 2014 meeting were read and accepted. The RCC community survey is available on the Community Connection portion of the Town website. The results will be reported to the State by the end of April. The Treasurer's reports for February 1 and March 1, 2014 were accepted. The State has not yet applied 2014 funds to the RCC account. The Treasurer will check with Lisa O'Brien at Town Hall. Lynne and Peggy reported on their attendance at the February State Assembly and their attempted visit with Rep. Brad Jones. Peggy read Jones' letter expressing regret he had not met with them February. Peggy noted that none of the Reading representatives have voted to increase Cultural Council funding. We then discussed the reception for 2103 and 2014 grantees to be held May12, 2014 at RCTV on Main Street. Eileen will handle invitations and Colleen will reserve the space. The invitation will incorporate Donna Schenkel's RCC logo. Catherine will make the name tags. Council members will prepare and donate the refreshments. Lynne asked the council members to re -vote on the Barrows' School grant. Another author $610 grant. substituted for the original person and the $575 fee was less than the original The substitution was approved and the remaining funds will be retained by RCC. The meeting adjourned at 8:35 P.M. ..
