(RS motioned -SR seconded, vote 5 -0 in favor) and Send RP to Town Clerk The CPDC approved the plaque at their February 25t meeting. 10 Pierce St Owner would like the RCH to select the final selection -both options Study is Plaque have the same photo and same text- Option A (narrow text) or currently Option B (wider text.)RHC selected Option B. ongoing SRS motioned -CM seconded, vote 5 -0 in favor of Option B MC,VA and RS visited the house. House is being renovated -the 1850's section is being gutted down to the studs. Another visit will 573 Pearl St. be scheduled when work moves to another portion of the building. V to write VA (a bit of history 1708 it was a school and in the 1850's became a a a report private house. Town Town is redoing the Town website. Laura Gemme asked if the CM to Website RHC want to have our web pages updated. Meeting to be held. attend CM volunteered to attend meeting Intent will be have a standard design, only the date of the house will be different. After looking at a variety of plaque designs, the Historic RHC members choose an oval shape with the words "Historic Plaque q Property" along the top, the house date in the middle and Reading Program Historic Commission along the bottom. The house date will be Pricing VA/CM written in large font with the other words is a much smaller font size. VA to follow up. CM to follow up with family member who bought a similar plaque and ask about pricing. Preservation The Window Woman, Alison Hardy, agreed to speak at the RCH Month May 5 presentation at the Library. RCH members voted to give Alison Hardy a 100$ stipend and a copy of At Wood's End. Jean Delios did send to MC an email New inquiring who is paying for the new system. An RHC member Computer should attend the FinCom meeting. The RHC members voted to use RHC funds to pay for a new computer system in the event that the Town will not pay for one.. CM motioned -SRS seconded, vote 5 -0 in favor RHC RHC to continue working on the draft guidelines for the procedures Guidelines of the new Demolition Delay. Civil Wars grant monies are available, RHC was asked if there was Bell Tower any way to connect the Old South Church /Bell Tower to the Civil War.
