Members were reminded that the State Assembly will be held February 11 with an inclement weather date April 22, 2014. Registration is due on line by January 12, 2013. Lynne circulated a list of members' names and email addresses. The minutes of the November meeting were read and accepted. The Treasurer's report was read and accepted. The Treasurer's annual report is due December 30, 2013. If any member is affiliated with an application, she should remove herself from the room. Due to her membership in the Reading Art Association, Lynne will be out of the room for the discussion and vote on their application. The following applications are not eligible for consideration,: 14 -01 Blues Brothers Briefcase: no date, venue, additional funding 14 -02 Hofbrauhaus Bavarian Band: no date, venue, additional funding 14 -04 Swing Concert: no date, venue, additional funding 14 -06 Henry the Juggler: no date, venue, additional funding 14 -15 Brazil Meets Jazz: no date, funding, venue, additional funding 14 -16 Mystic valley Elder Services: not a Reading venue 14 -17 Summer Latine Music: no date, venue, additional funding Lynne left the room while the other members discussed the Reading Art Association application 14 -08. All the members then discussed the remaining applications and voted to grant the following amounts: 14 -01 Ivy Chord Coffee House $1,000 14 -05 Mr. President $450 14 -07 The Marble Collection $100 14 -09 Barrows Elem. School Author Visit $610 14 -10 Mourning Jewelry and Cemetery History $500 14 -11 RSO Tickets for Teens $200 • 14 -12 RCS Holiday Hits $1,000 14 -13 My Name: My Identity $300 14 -14 Killiam: Harvard Museum of Natural History $500 Lynne left the room while the others voted on 14 -08 Reading Art Association $650 The total expenditure for the year will be $5,310 Lynne will write letters to those who did not receive funding and then two weeks later she will write allotment letters to the grantees. Peggy read a notice regarding staffing changes at MCC. Donna will become a full member in February. Peggy, Lynne, Eileen and Colleen will be leaving the council when their terms expire in the spring. The meeting adjourned at 8:19 P.M.
