Topics of Discussion:
Review and approve minutes from November 7, 2013 meetin
Lori Hodin moved accept minutes with one correction, Chief Cormier was present but arrived
late. Second by Monique Gnanaratnam. Voted to approve 5 -0.
♦ Introductions and welcome to Rachel Littlehale the new RMHS student
representative.
♦ MLK Day plannin
• Lori and Jacie working on the program, when completed will forward press information to
Cormier for distribution to local media outlets.
• Beth Mosher to be contacted by Camille
• J Cross will be primary speaker, cost $175, Cormier will speak w/ TM re-, cost.
• Monique had lined up an other speaker, but will cancel in light of J Cross.
• Rachel will co- ordinate World of Difference clubs for one presentation and they will
assist with poster advertising at schools and around town.
• Lori will check w/ Linda Snow Dockser re: invocation.
Arts Contest
• Karen working on logistics, Rachel will assist with getting word out at schools
• Cormier will contact Rotary re: donation for awards.
Tree Lighting
• Cormier updated committee on discussions that had been held between Town Manager
and Linda Snow Dockser on this topic. Lori indicated matter resolved.
♦ Parker Middle School update

• Cormier updated the committee on the process followed in the spring by the Police and
the schools related to a racist threat that occurred at the school.
Next meeting agenda requests
• Discussion around historical issues, discussions and programs and reinvigorating those
efforts if desirable, i.e. Rachel's Challenge.
Meeting adjourned at 8:50PM on a motion by Lori Hodin, second by Prabha Sankaran.
Vote 5 -0.
