MASS. 2017 OCT 23 A 131 Location: Selectmen Meeting Room Minutes Respectfully Submitted By: Maureen Knight, Recording Secretary Topics of Discussion: Other Business Discuss and appoint a Zoning Board of Appeals member as a representative to the Ad Hoc Zoning Bylaw Advisory Committee and discuss potential improvements to the zoning bylaws. There were five members present, and the Chair had given his vote via email to the other Board Members. David Traniello volunteered to assume the position on the committee. On a motion by John Jarema, seconded by ]Cathleen Hackett, the Zoning Board of Appeals moved to appoint David Traniello as the representative from the Zoning Board of Appeals to the ad hoc Zoning Advisory Committee (ZAC). The vote was 5 -0 -0 (Miles, Redfern, Hackett, Traniello, and Jarema). MINUTES On a motion by John Miles, seconded by David Traniello, the Zoning Board of Appeals moved to approve the minutes of July 11, 2013. The vote was 5 -0 -0 (Miles, Redfern, Hackett, Traniello, and Jarema). Page 1 1 On a motion by John Jarema, seconded by Kathleen Hackett, the Zoning Board of Appeals moved to approve the minutes of August 1, 2013 with changes. The vote was 5 -0 -0 (Miles, Redfem, Hackett, Traniello, and Jarema). Other Business Mr. Traniello noted that on south Main Street the demolition of the existing building on the future Perfecto's site was almost completed today by 4:00 PM. Mr. Redfern said the Applicants were granted by the Board a partial demolition and it appeared it was now a total demolition and he thought the Applicants might have to come back before the board again. Mr. Traniello also said that Atria Senior Housing is coming before the board again and that the Town is trying to reach affordable housing through a monetary payment from Artis in lieu of six units of affordable housing. He also said Artis must go before CPDC before they return to the Zoning Board of Appeals. He said he hoped they resolved the monetary issue before they come before the board. Adjournment On a motion by John Jarema, seconded by John Miles, the Zoning Board of Appeals moved to adjourn the meeting. The vote was 5 -0 -0 (Miles, Redfern, Hackett, Traniello, and Jarema).
